Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 24, 2026

Draft — pending legal review. This policy describes our current practices in good faith. Our attorney is reviewing the final version. If you have questions in the meantime, email info@thefortnh.com.

The Fort NH ("The Fort," "we," "us") operates the website at thefortnh.com and provides fitness, cycling, and physical therapy services in Manchester, New Hampshire. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

The Fort operates two related businesses under one roof:

  • Fortitude Training + FortCycle: operated by The Fort, including personal training, group fitness, and indoor cycling.
  • Performance Therapy: a separate limited liability company owned by Dr. Molly Sifflard, DPT. Physical therapy records are maintained under Performance Therapy's own privacy practices, consistent with applicable healthcare privacy requirements.

This Policy covers information collected through thefortnh.com and The Fort's member services. Information collected during a physical therapy appointment is governed by Performance Therapy's patient privacy practices, which Dr. Molly will share with you at intake.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

Information you give us directly. When you submit the Journey quiz, a contact form, an intake questionnaire, or a membership inquiry, we collect your name, email, phone, any notes you provide, and the service you're interested in. If you create a member account, we also collect your password (hashed — we never see it in readable form).

Information from your visit. When you use the website, our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard request data like IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use basic analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising trackers.

Information from MindBody. If you hold a membership or book classes through MindBody, that platform is the system of record for your scheduling and payment information. We access your class attendance and upcoming bookings through MindBody's API to display them in your member dashboard. Billing is handled by MindBody under their own privacy practices.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and inquiries.
  • To schedule consultations, assessments, and sessions with the right team member (Drew for training, Dr. Molly for physical therapy, Terri for cycling).
  • To send you the information you request, including welcome emails after a Journey quiz submission.
  • To operate your member account and show your upcoming classes and bookings.
  • To improve the site and our services (for example, understanding which program pages are most useful).
  • To comply with applicable law.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information in a few limited situations:

  • With our team. A lead about personal training is routed to Drew; a lead about physical therapy is routed to Dr. Molly; a lead about cycling is routed to Terri. Bill Sifflard and Drew are copied on cycling leads for leadership visibility.
  • With service providers we rely on to run the site and our services. These currently include Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (transactional email), MindBody (scheduling + billing), Anthropic (AI assistance in the Journey quiz and admin tools), and Upstash (caching). Each of these providers handles your data under their own privacy terms.
  • When required by law, for example in response to a valid subpoena or to protect someone's safety.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction. Email us at info@thefortnh.com to see what we have on file or to correct it.
  • Deletion. You can ask us to delete your information. We'll comply except where we're required to keep records (for example, transaction history for tax purposes).
  • Email preferences. Transactional emails (booking confirmations, intake confirmations) are part of our services. Marketing emails, if we send any in the future, will include an unsubscribe link.
  • Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and similar states: you may have additional rights under state law. Contact us and we'll honor them.

6. How we protect your information

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access to our admin tools, hashed passwords, and a database with row-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security — but we take it seriously.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services and to comply with our legal obligations. Lead records may be kept for up to two years. Member accounts are kept while active and for a reasonable period after cancellation. Billing records are kept as required by tax law.

8. Children

The Fort's online services are not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site. Some of our in-person programs welcome children accompanied by a parent — in those cases we handle any information with the parent directly.

9. Links to other sites

Our site links to third-party services like MindBody for booking. Those services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.

10. Changes to this Policy

We'll update this page when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent change.
